About Chef Cody

For Chef Cody, food has always been about more than what's on the plate. It's about family, connection, tradition, and the remarkable ability of a shared meal to bring people together.

As a devoted husband and father, some of his most cherished memories have been made around the dinner table. These experiences shaped his belief that food serves as a bridge between generations, cultures, and communities. Whether it's a holiday feast, a casual gathering of friends, or a special celebration, he believes that great meals create lasting memories.

Family has influenced more than just his approach to cooking—it even inspired the nickname many people know him by today. When his two-year-old niece first tried to say "Cody," it came out as "Coco." Before long, his three-year-old daughter adopted the name, followed by his wife, and eventually the rest of the family. Today, he is affectionately known as "Chef Coco" or "Tío Coco," a nickname that reflects the close-knit family values that are at the heart of everything he does.

Chef Cody combines his passion for cooking with a Master's Degree in Nutrition, bringing a unique perspective to every dish he prepares. He understands that food is not only a source of enjoyment but also a powerful tool for supporting health and well-being. Throughout his career, he has embraced the philosophy that thoughtfully prepared meals can help prevent disease, support healing, and improve quality of life—all while delivering exceptional flavor.

His culinary style is deeply influenced by both family tradition and global exploration. Many of his recipes have been passed down through generations, preserving the flavors and techniques that first inspired his love of cooking. Others have been collected during his travels around the world, where he sought out family kitchens and authentic regional dishes to better understand the stories behind the food.

Today, Chef Cody brings these influences together to create memorable dining experiences that celebrate fresh ingredients, cultural traditions, and the joy of gathering around the table. Whether preparing an authentic Spanish paella, handcrafted tapas, or a customized menu designed specifically for your event, his goal remains the same: to nourish both body and soul while creating an experience your guests will remember long after the last bite.

For Chef Cody—better known to many as Chef Coco—the greatest compliment isn't simply that a meal tasted good; it's knowing that it helped bring people together.
